Graduating Seniors Transcript Instructions

Graduating seniors must have an official transcript sent electronically directly to incomingtranscript@jh.edu as soon as their transfer course is graded.

If the host institution will ONLY use the US Postal System, while not the preferred method of receiving a transcript, please provide the following address to ensure it is delivered to the correct JHU office for processing:

Please note: delayed receipt of your transcript may impact your graduation date.

General Transfer Credit Information

  • Students may transfer a maximum of 12 external credits to JHU.
  • A grade of “C” or better is required to transfer the credit, but the grade will not be included in your GPA.
  • Students pursuing the pre-med track should consult with the Office of Pre-Professional Advising concerning transfer courses.
  • If you have already completed a course without pre-approval, please be aware that the course may not be eligible for transfer.
